Sometimes, when registering on the site, people forget to disable sending notifications to the mail about incoming messages, site news, adding users, and so on. When they start to actively use the site, the mailbox becomes littered with notifications. You can solve this problem by unsubscribing from receiving them.
Instructions
Step 1
If you want to unsubscribe from receiving notifications by mail from the social network Vkontakte, open your personal page in the browser and select "Settings" in the menu on the left.
Step 2
Go to the Alerts tab. At the very bottom of the page there will be settings for sending notifications to your mailbox, select “Never notify” in the drop-down menu, click “Save” and refresh the page. You can also configure the receipt of notification about events of a certain type by configuring them in the same menu item. It is convenient, for example, to configure the main notifications by unchecking the checkbox for incoming messages.
Step 3
If you have an account on Last.fm and want to unsubscribe from receiving notifications, click on the drop-down menu in the upper right corner next to your account name. Select "Settings".
Step 4
Click on the "Email" tab. At the very bottom of the page, check the box next to "Never email me" and save your changes.
Step 5
Unsubscribe from receiving Twitter alerts by going to the site and opening the "Settings" drop-down menu in the right corner. Open the "Notifications" tab and uncheck all the boxes. Save your changes.
Step 6
If you want to unsubscribe from mailings from any forum, open your profile settings and tick all the boxes by which the system can notify you. Save your changes. This item is applicable to all forums of the standard design type, however, on different resources, the notification setting can be located in different sections of the forum.
Step 7
Unsubscribe to receive updates from Facebook by opening in the upper right corner in the drop-down menu of your account settings. On the left, select "Notifications". You will see a list of settings with drop-down menus opposite, make the necessary changes, save them and refresh the page.
