Often, many resources prohibit inserting animated images. This is done for reasons of traffic economy or for other reasons. However, this limitation can be circumvented by "tricking" the site by changing the image resolution.

In the new window that appears on the screen, go to the middle of the tabs, which is called "View". Scroll the list to the very end, find in one of the last positions the item "Hide extensions for registered file types". Uncheck it, apply the changes and click the "OK" button.

Find the animation you want on your computer. Select the "Rename file" item using the menu that appears when you right-click the mouse. Change the file extension by removing gif after the dot and substituting jpeg or.

Save your changes even if the system warns you. This is done in order to be able to see the animation in the file selection window for further uploading to the server.

In the browser, using the "Browse" button, add an animation image. Please note that many social networks have taken this into account, so your animation will turn into a regular JPEG file. For them, the function of inserting images as an avatar is not possible under any circumstances.
Step 6
If there is a function of displaying an avatar from a third-party resource, upload your animation image to any of the sites, copy the link to it (and not the page on which it is located) using the right-click menu.

Usually browsers have a special function, however, for example, in Internet Explorer, you must first click "Properties", and then in the window that appears, copy the link from the corresponding line. Next, go to the desired resource in the profile settings and specify the path to the file. Save your changes.
