Double-sided DVDs are usually used for recording large files. Sometimes discs of this format are used to create a copy of the media intended for use with game consoles.

Instructions
Step 1
Use Nero Burning Rom to burn double-sided DVDs. Install this program. Reboot your computer. Run the utility shortcut located on the desktop. If it was not automatically generated, open the Program Files folder, navigate to the Nero directory and select the file you want.
Step 2
Click the DVD-Rom (ISO) button. In the "Multisession" tab that opens, select the disc creation option. If you are burning a regular data DVD, please enable support for the function of the same name. If you want to create a copy of the game disc, disable the ability to add files.
Step 3
Click the "Sticker" tab. Enter the name of the disc in the corresponding field. Go to the "Recording" tab. Check the box next to Finalize Disc. Choose a suitable write speed for the disc.
Step 4
Click the "New" button and wait for the next menu to open. Move the files you want using the Nero menu. Select DVD9 in the lower part of the working window. This is necessary if you are recording a disk image or large files.
Step 5
In a situation where you just need to burn a set of different files to a double-sided DVD, specify DVD5 and burn each side separately.
Step 6
After preparing the files for burning, click the Burn Now button. After a while, the DVD drive tray will automatically open. Turn the disc over and click Continue. Wait for the second side of the blank to finish writing.
Step 7
If you prefer to use free utilities, burn the information to disk using Burnaware Professional. Do not use double-sided discs to create multiboot media. This often results in the loss of important files during disc burning.
