The most terrible computer virus "Red Square" is spreading with great speed. It is capable of disrupting the computer systems of not only ordinary users, but also erasing even large databases.
The Red Square virus became the worst virus of 2017. Its first appearance was noted back in February, however, it did not reach a large scale. Already today, such large companies as Megafon, Sberbank of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Internal Affairs were able to successfully reflect it. The "red square" blocks absolutely all data, after which a message comes that you need to pay a certain amount of money in order for the blocking to be lifted. Its second name is WannaCry. Finding it is very difficult due to the fact that it carries out all its operations without using files.
Today there is a way to get rid of malware. In order to get rid of the Red Square virus, you must:
- install a special patch on your computer that can block the vulnerability of the system;
- put protection on all nodes of your network;
- scan your computer by turning on System Watcher if you have Kaspersky Anti-Virus;
- reboot the OS after completing all the actions.
If you follow all the steps one by one, the malware will be completely removed and your computer will be protected. At the moment, programmers are developing other ways to combat the new type of virus.
