Carambis Driver Updater scans your computer, finds all internal and external devices installed in it, and then checks to see if the drivers they are using are out of date. At the end of this operation, the application offers to automatically search the Internet, download and replace all drivers that need updating. This program to transform a trial version into a full-fledged version requires entering a license key.
Instructions
Step 1
Make sure your computer is connected to the internet. During the registration process, the application sends a request to the Carambis server and receives a response from it, therefore, if you are not using a permanent connection, then establish an Internet connection before starting the license activation procedure.
Step 2
Open the main application window. If its settings are set to launch the application every time the computer is turned on, this can be done using the application icon in the tray - it shows a stylized gear. Right-click the icon and select "Open Driver Updater" from the two-line menu. If the program is inactive, launch it through the main menu - the corresponding item is in the Carambis folder of the All Programs section.
Step 3
In the lower left corner of the main program window there is a link "About the program" - click on it with the mouse, and then click the "Register" button in the window that opens. An activation form will appear on the screen.
Step 4
The form consists of only two fields, in the top - "Your name" - enter the last name and first name specified during registration. In the lower field ("License number") enter the serial number - you must receive it after payment on the company's website to the e-mail indicated in the registration form. In order not to be mistaken with manual input, it is better to copy the multi-digit number from the text of the letter and paste it into the registration form.
Step 5
Then press the yellow "Register" button and wait for the application to send the entered data to the server, its scripts will check them against their database and return the program to confirm that the code matches the entered first and last name. If everything goes well, from the moment the program receives confirmation from the server, the countdown of the one-year period during which the received license is valid will begin. If an error occurs, send the data again, and if subsequent attempts fail, contact the support service through the contact form on the company's website.
