Any licensed program has an activation key, without which it cannot be installed and without which it will not work. When buying a new program, there is a standard activation code in the form of English letters and numbers, arranged in groups in any order. The same goes for Kaspersky's antivirus software.
Necessary
- - the Internet;
- - computer.
Instructions
Step 1
If the Kaspersky application has already been installed on your personal computer, and the license has expired, the utility stops working until you enter the key. How to do it? First of all, contact the program developer for a new key, that is, for a license renewal. To obtain a key, go directly to the Kaspersky website at www.kaspersky.com. On it, fill out an application, pay for the license renewal, and the key will be sent to your email address (email). Enter all the data correctly so that the system will send you the data with the key.
Step 2
When you receive the key, copy it to any folder on your computer. You can just place it on your desktop. Enter the program. You will see a window asking you to enter an activation code or key. The activation code is already deprecated, so skip these points and pay attention to the blank line below. You may not have such a line, but the item "Use the key" or "Enter the activation code" will appear. Click on this column with the left mouse button.
Step 3
Since the key is encoded information, you cannot enter data into the string yourself. Specify the path to the storage location of the key on your computer (the key looks like several blue squares, one of which has dropped out of the row; the key name is written in numbers). To specify the path to the key, click on the "Browse" button. In the list that opens, select the folder where you placed the key sent to you. For example, specify "Desktop". This will open a list of everything on your desktop. Right-click on the key icon. All windows will be closed, and the line with the key will indicate the location of its storage. Click the "Next" button for the program to be activated and to work again in the previous mode.
