The set of motherboards for a computer always contains disks with drivers for the constituent components of the main board of the computer - sound, video, chipset, USB controller and others. If you need to install the selected drivers from the package, then it is not necessary to complete the entire installation.
Instructions
Step 1
Insert the disc from the motherboard into the computer drive. After a while, a window for automatically starting the disk program will appear. Click the "Install Drivers" tab. Perhaps the system will show you several ways to read information from the carrier. Select "Open with Explorer". If the automatic launch did not work, start it manually from the My Computer window.
Step 2
Select the item that will display a list of available drivers. Give the utility time to check the parameters of your system and display a list of drivers with notes on which ones need to be installed. If the utility considers it necessary to install all the drivers, click the button to start the automatic installation. If you need to install one driver from the list, check it and leave the rest of the items unchecked. Click on the driver item or the Install button to start the installation procedure.
Step 3
After the installation is complete, the operating system may ask you to restart your computer - do it. Verify the correctness of the installation by running the Device Manager utility through the Control Panel. You can install only the required driver from the disk through the "Device Manager". To do this, select the required computer component and open the menu by clicking the right mouse button. Select "Update Driver" and select optical media as the source.
Step 4
If you do not have a special disk with drivers for installation, go to the manufacturer's official website and download the appropriate software. You can view the motherboard model in the computer system unit or in the box from the motherboard. Try to check all files downloaded from the Internet using licensed antivirus software.
