Step 1
Partition Manager is perfect for creating new local disks without reinstalling the operating system. Download this utility from www.paragon.ru. Install the program and restart your computer. This is necessary in order for the utility to collect the necessary information about the state of the hard disk.
Step 2
Start the Partition Manager program. Go to the "Wizards" menu and select "Create Section". Check the box next to Advanced Mode and click Next.

Now, using the arrows, select the area in which the new section will be created. If you don't need to, place a new local disk at the end of the render bar. This will significantly reduce the time it takes to create the disc. Click "Next".
Step 4
Left-click on the local disk that will be the "donor". Set the size of the new partition. To do this, move the slider to the desired indicator. Check the box next to Create Logical Partition. Click "Next".
Step 5
In the "Volume type" field, specify the file system of the future disk. Enter a label and select a drive letter from the options provided. Click "Next". Close the dialog menu by clicking Finish.
Step 6
If you want to create several new local disks, repeat the described cycle. After preparing all the parameters of the hard disk, click the "Apply pending changes" button. Wait for the new menu to appear and click the "Restart Now" button.
Step 7
Close third-party programs if Partition Manager cannot perform this action on its own. After restarting the computer, the DOS version of the PM program will start. It can take several hours to create a new local disk.
