What is S. T. A. L. K. E. R.?
S. T. A. L. K. E. R. - a series of games developed by the Ukrainian company GSC Game World. It has a genre of first person shooter with RPG elements. Events are unfolding in the exclusion zone near the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, at the present time.
The plot of the series is as follows: in 2006, the area near the nuclear power plant was subjected to anomalous effects, as a result of which the chemical, biological and physical processes in this area changed. A lot of mutants and anomalies have appeared.
The idea of the series traces the influence of Andrei Tarkovsky's film "Stalker" and the book by the Strugatsky brothers "Roadside Picnic". The name of the games is an acronym for Scavengers, Trespassers, Adventures, Loners, Killers, Explorers, Robbers.
The first part of the series is called S. T. A. L. K. E. R.: Shadow of Chernobyl. Events develop in 1012, in the Chernobyl exclusion zone. From a place where human destinies broke down, it turned into a threat to all of humanity.
All the anomalies and monsters of the Zone are just preparation for something frightening and fatal. The main thing in this game is to survive. You need to collect artifacts, trade, fight, probe the rear. If the player is lucky, then he will find out why all this fell on him.
The second part - S. T. A. L. K. E. R.: Clear sky. The events of this game take place a year before those described in the first part of the series.
The zone is plagued by displaced anomalous fields and increased emissions. Clans fight for key positions and new territories. Stalkers are dying, but others are replacing them.
You need to save yourself from emissions, be treated from radiation, collect artifacts and fight for one of the factions. At the end of the game, the truth about where the S. T. A. L. K. E. R. tattoo came from will be revealed. on Arrow's arm, and how he ended up in the death truck.
The third part - S. T. A. L. K. E. R.: Call of Pripyat. The game takes place after the Shooter destroyed the O-Consciousness project.
The government decides to conduct a military operation "Fairway". Its goal is to take control of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
Although the operation has been carefully thought out, it is failing. In order to collect information about the failure of the operation, the Security Service of Ukraine sends an agent to the center of the Zone. Then everything depends on the player.
How to install a mod on S. T. A. L. K. E. R.?
Sooner or later, this question is asked by many game lovers. Mods can be installed in two ways.
