Usually, the Opera browser, when entering a password, asks for permission to save it. But passwords sometimes have to be changed, so the system provides a password removal function. But not all PC users can easily fix this problem.
Necessary
- - a computer connected to the Internet;
- - the Opera browser installed on the computer.
Instructions
Step 1
To disable the memorization setting, go to the "Tools" menu, there find the "Settings" item and go to the tab called "Wand". The checked box in the line "The rod remembers passwords" instructs the browser to remember passwords. Therefore, uncheck the box to disable this feature. After that click on the "OK" button. As a rule, Opera is able to remember only passwords entered by the user.
Step 2
If your version of the Opera does not have the "Wand" tab in the "Settings", find the "additional" button on the panel in the "Tools". Go there and go to the "Password Management" tab. Select from the list of sites that appears on which you want to remove the password and click on the "Close" button. The password will be canceled.
Step 3
In order to remove the function of remembering passwords from your browser, go to the "Tools" again, find the "General settings" line, follow it to the "Forms" window and uncheck the "Enable password management" box. After that, the Opera browser will no longer prompt you to remember the password when you enter it.
