Step 1
First of all, you need to find the place in the text that you plan to separate with an empty line. Divide the text into two parts in your mind. Place your mouse cursor at the end of the first part. Press the Enter key on your keyboard. After that, the second part of the text will move one line below. Thus, two new paragraphs will be formed, separated by a blank line.
Step 2
If you are working in Microsoft Excel, you have to do other things, because "insert a blank line" there means that you need to add a new row to the table. To do this, just click on the cell of the table where you want the empty line to appear, and it will immediately appear there.
Step 3
There is also another way. Select the row in the table after which you plan to insert an empty one. On the top menu bar, open the middle Insert tab. A list will pop up. Click on the "Lines" item. After these steps, Excel will insert a blank row.
