Most often, torrents do not have games available for download, but their installation files. In this case, the installation files themselves are found in two forms. The first type is executable files, it is easier to work with them. The second type of files - installation disc images - requires additional software.

First, determine what kind of installation file you have downloaded to your computer from the torrent. To do this, look at the file extension. If it doesn't appear, open any folder and choose Folder Options from the Tools menu. A new dialog box will open.

Make sure you are on the View tab and look for Hide Extensions for Registered File Types under Advanced Options. Remove the marker from it, apply the new settings and close the dialog box.

Executable files have the extension.exe - install.exe, setup.exe. If you downloaded just such a file, just click on its icon with the left mouse button. The "Installation Wizard" will start its work, you just need to follow its instructions: specify the directory for installing the game and, upon request, press the "Next" button. After the installation is complete, click the "Finish" button, if necessary, restart your computer, and you can enjoy the game.

If the file extension is.iso,.mds, etc., then you have a disk image in front of you. Install a CD drive emulator such as Alcohol 120 or Daemon Tools on your computer. Run the application and create a virtual drive, then mount the downloaded disk image on it. After this procedure, the game is installed according to the same scenario as in the first case: you select the installation file with the.exe extension and follow the instructions of the "Installation Wizard". In some cases, the installation of the game from the mounted disk image will start automatically.
