Instructions
Step 1
Naturally, you need to use special utilities for successful file recovery. Download Easy Recovery. Be sure to choose a relatively new version of this utility, because the difference in the number of recovered files can be huge compared to outdated releases. Make sure the selected version is compatible with your operating system. Install Easy Recovery and run the program.
Step 2
Open the Data Recovery menu. If you just deleted files that are important to you, then select the Deleted Recovery menu. Wait for the new menu to open. Select the hard disk partition where the deleted files were previously located. Specify a category of file types to speed up the search process. Activate the Complete Scan item. This will perform a deep scan of the hard drive.
Step 3
Click Next and wait while the program searches for deleted files. This process can take a long time. It all depends on the speed of your computer and the size of the specified partition of the hard drive.
Step 4
After scanning is complete, a new menu will open. Wait a while for the process of listing the detected files to be completed. Now select those that need to be restored. To do this, check the box next to the corresponding folder in the left window of the program or next to a specific file in the right window. When it comes to photographs, you can usually use the preview function.
Step 5
Click the Next button. Specify the drive where you want to save the recovered files and the folder on it. Remember that you cannot specify the disk partition from which you are recovering files. Click the Next button and wait until the process of restoring the selected data is completed.
