The offline browser mode is a convenient way to view previously visited Internet pages without the need to establish a connection. At the same time, under certain circumstances, it may be necessary to disable this mode of operation.
Instructions
Step 1
In order to turn off the offline mode of the Opera browser, disconnect the established Internet connection and bring up the main system menu by pressing the "Start" button. Go to "All Programs" and start the Opera application. Expand the main menu of the program and select the "Settings" item. Uncheck the box next to Work Offline.
Step 2
Start the Mozilla Firefox application in order to turn off the offline mode of the program and open the "File" menu at the top of the service panel of the browser window. Uncheck the box next to Work Offline.
Step 3
Start Internet Explorer to disable the offline function and open the File menu in the upper service bar of the browser window. Uncheck the box next to Work Offline.
Step 4
Expand the "Service" menu in the same upper service pane of the program window and expand the "Internet Options" node. Select the "Connections" tab in the properties dialog box that opens and mark the checkbox in the "Never use dial-up connections" line.
Step 5
Use the "Network Settings" command and uncheck all lines of the new "Local Area Network Settings" dialog. Confirm saving the changes made by clicking OK and apply them by clicking the same button again in the confirmation window that opens for the selected action. Close the program and reboot the system.

Step 7
Expand the HKCUSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionInternetSettings branch and find a key named GlobalUserOffline. Change the value of the found parameter to: 00000000 and close the editor. Reboot the system to save the changes made.
