After that, a field surrounded by a dotted line will appear at the top of the document - a field for entering a header. In addition, the header and footer settings panel will open. The transition between the top and bottom is carried out using the "header / footer" button, the transition between the headers and footers is carried out using the buttons "go to the next", "go to the previous". Using the "Insert AutoText" menu, you can insert information about the page number, creation date, file name, and more into the header and footer. By default, headers and footers are inserted on all pages of the document. When you make changes, Microsoft Word will automatically change the same headers and footers throughout the document, even if the section of the document contains different headers and footers.

To do this, place the cursor where you want to insert the section break. Enter the "Insert" menu, select the "Break" item from the drop-down list.
