At the same time, no one will refuse high-quality and powerful sound that computer speakers cannot give, but which is provided by home theater equipment. Usually, a home theater is connected to a TV - but you can combine high-quality sound and watching movies, as well as listening to your favorite music on your computer by connecting a home theater speaker system (5: 1 system).

Step 1
Your home theater must have a DVD player that plays discs properly, five speakers and a subwoofer, as well as a high-quality audio card and a wire with tulip connectors on one end and a mini-jack on the other.
Step 2
To connect a home theater speaker system to your computer's audio card, you need an intermediary amplifier - a DVD player plays its role.

Using the above cable, connect the player to the audio card by plugging the mini-jack cable into the out jack. Connect the two cinch plugs on the other end of the cable to the dvd player in the in socket. Connect the speaker system to the player using the supplied cables by plugging the cables into the appropriate connectors.

Open the sound card settings section and in the sound equipment parameters indicate that you have 6 speakers installed in order to adjust the sound settings in accordance with the new sound environment.

Connect your dvd player to the network, specify the correct audio output channel and listen to music with powerful and high quality sound.

While listening to various music, edit the level of bass, midrange and treble in the sound card settings, changing the equalizer values manually, if necessary.
