For many laptop owners, battery life is one of the main factors. Modern models have powerful batteries capable of operating the car for up to 9 hours. And in order to optimize these indicators, you need to configure the correct power consumption mode - set timers to put the laptop into sleep mode or shutdown.

Different laptop models can be programmed with different commands. In most cases, you will need to press the Power key to wake up the machine. In addition, it can be triggered by opening the lid, pressing any button on the keyboard, clicking a mouse button.

But there are times when the laptop freezes in sleep mode. This can happen due to excessive battery drain, system settings failure, or errors in the executable process. In these cases, you can try the following:
- put the laptop on charge (connect the power cord), wait a little and press the Power button or the Fn key;
- press the Reset button located on the bottom of the laptop. This will lead to a normal reboot of the system, removing from memory incorrect processes that prevent waking from hibernation;
- if there is a suspicion that the computer is frozen, it will need to be restarted. To do this, press and hold the power button for a few seconds. With this method, unsaved documents can be lost;
- remove the battery for a few seconds, then reinsert it and press the power button. The laptop will automatically restart.
