If autorun is disabled, the computer prompts the user to select an action to take when loading the disc each time. When autorun is enabled, this action must be selected only once, in the future it will occur automatically. Thus, this program is designed to save time.
Instructions
Step 1
Click the Start button.
Step 2
Click on "Control Panel".
Step 3
Select "AutoPlay".
Step 4
For each file type, select an action that your computer will take automatically when you turn on the disc.
For example, for a movie DVD, you have the following options.
- Play movie through Windows Media Player.
- Play movie through CyberLink PowerDVD player.
- Open the disc for viewing using the explorer.
- Do not take any action.
- Ask every time.
