Windows security is built around the concept of user accounts. For authorization with a specific account, as a rule, you must enter a password. However, in cases where the computer is used by a narrow circle of people, and there is no important information on it (for example, if it is a home computer), it makes sense to remove the password when entering the system.

Instructions
Step 1
Start the Windows Control Panel. Open the menu by clicking on the "Start" button located in the taskbar on the desktop. You can also press the Win key on your keyboard. Highlight Setup. Select "Control Panel" in the child menu.

Open the Administrative Tasks folder window. View the contents of the control panel window. Find the "Administration" shortcut. Right click on it. In the displayed context menu, click on the "Open" item.
Step 3
Start the application to perform administrative tasks, maintain and manage computer resources. Activate the "Computer Management" shortcut in the current window by double-clicking on it or by selecting the "Open" item of the context menu available by right-clicking the mouse.
Step 4
Activate the User Account and User Group Management snap-in on the local computer. Expand Computer Management (Local) and then Utilities in the partition tree displayed in the left pane of the management program window. Highlight the "Users" item. The module interface will be displayed in the right pane.
Step 5
In the right pane, find and highlight the account for which you want to remove the password at login. For your convenience, you can sort the list by username or description column.
Step 6
Start changing the password for the highlighted user account. Click on the corresponding list item with the right mouse button. In the context menu, click on the "Set password …" item.
Step 7
Read the text displayed in the displayed warning window. Click OK if you want to continue the process.
Step 8
Remove the login password for the selected user. Click OK on the Set Password for … dialog without entering anything in the New Password and Confirm text boxes. After that, a window with the message "Password changed" will be displayed. Click the OK button again. The next time you boot the operating system under this account, you will be able to log in without entering a password.
