Sometimes in our life there are situations when we need a backing track of a song (that is, music without words). For example, you need to prepare some kind of performance, a creative performance for a corporate party, or congratulate one of your relatives on a family holiday. You can download ready-made backing tracks from the Internet, but the problem is that it is not always possible to find a minus for the desired song. Therefore, here is an instruction for creating a backing track at home.
It is necessary
Adobe Audition program
Instructions
Step 1
Download Adobe Audition if you don't already have it. Install it on your computer.
Step 2
Open the program, set the view in it - "multitrack" and drag the file with the song from which you want to make a backing track. Do this four times to make four tracks. Name the tracks, such as "original", "bass", etc.
Step 3
Double-click the original track. Double click to select the entire sound wave of this track, from above select the tab "Effects" - "Filters" - "Extract the center channel". In the window that appears, adjust the sound level and cut width. Evaluate the result obtained using the "View" button. If it suits you, then click "OK".
Step 4
Now take the next track (called "bass"), select it. Choose Effects - Filters - Scientific Filters. Here you need to select a filter called "Butterward" - "Skip Bottom". Set the frequency to 800 Hz. Click "View" and achieve the desired result, then click "OK".
Step 5
For the “middle” track, press the “Prop. Band” button, set the frequencies to 800-6000 Hz, cut out the center.
Step 6
For the track "high" press "Skip up", set the frequencies from 6000 to 20000 Hz. Cut out the center.
Step 7
Now each track is cut by frequencies. We need to combine all these tracks into one. To do this, open the "Multitrack" tab, drag all files into one place. Now press Play (or Alt + P keyboard shortcut) and listen to what you get.
Step 8
Using different equalizers, you can correct the resulting backing track a little more.
