Using built-in Microsoft Excel functions
1. Start Microsoft Excel.
2. In the "File" section go to the "Open" tab.
3. In the window that opens, find and select the XML file required for work.
4. Click the "Open" button (in the lower right corner of the window).
5. After the file has opened again activate the "File" tab.
6. Item "Save as …".
7. In the tab that opens, select a place to store the converted document. If necessary, you can change the name of the file (the "File name" field).
8. Click on the "File type" field and select one of the appeared ways to save the document:
- Excel 97-2003 workbook;
- Excel workbook with support for macros;
- or Excel Workbook).
9. Click on the "Save" item.

4. In the window that appears, go to the "Ribbon settings" tab, where click on the "OK" item.
5. Click on the "Developer" subsection.
6. On the ribbon in the toolbox, click on the "Import" item.
7. Find the required file. In the lower right corner, click the "Import" button.
8. In the dialog box that opens, offering to create a scheme for Excel, click on the "OK" button.
9. Select a cell on the sheet, and in the "Data Import" dialog box that appears, click on the "OK" item. An XML table will be displayed in the program window. To save the document, click on the floppy disk icon in the upper left corner of the ribbon.
