How pleasant it is sometimes to talk to someone whom you have not seen for a long time, and especially if your friend or acquaintance is far away from you. And not just chat in a chat, via e-mail or phone, but see your own face, hear the desired voice. Or even host an online conference with business partners - eye contact tells you a lot more about people than a simple phone call.
Instructions
Step 1
All that is needed for such communication is headphones, a webcam and Skype. Its difference from other programs such as ICQ, QIP or Jabber is that you can chat with one person or with several dozen people at once. However, communication should not always be so open, and therefore situations arise when you need to remove one of the interlocutors from the chat or "clean up" the whole group.
Step 2
To delete a group contact, right-click on the group name in the contact list, select “delete”. Modern versions of programs do not allow deleting several groups at once, which means that you need to delete each one separately. But this often does not work: the point is that the contact you are deleting may not belong to you. In this case, find the person who added you to the chat and ask to remove you.
Step 3
To leave a group chat, select the Conversations tab and right-click on the group chat. A menu will appear, in which select the item "Leave the conversation", your interlocutors will receive a service message that you no longer support communication. You can return in the same way: right-click and select "Resume communication".
Step 4
Many users who work with the latest versions of the program often face the problem of logging out of the chat. Some of them even download old versions, since everything is simpler in them, and the service is intuitive. But you can also customize the new version to look like the previous one. To do this, in the "View" menu, select the "Compact view mode" option.
Step 5
Remember that by deleting an interlocutor or a group, you automatically send them a notification message: "You have been removed from your contact list," which means that you must be ready to answer a question about the reasons for your action.
