Step 1

Next, select the Connection Type tab and the Bridging setting mode, and then click Next. Check the box next to Enable Bridge Service and proceed. In the next window, leave the default settings and go ahead again. After that, go to the WAN Setup tab and save the settings by clicking Save / Reboot.

The modem is now configured in bridge mode. It remains to create an Internet connection. To do this, go to the "Network Connections" folder. A "Local Area Connection" should be automatically created in it. If its status is "Disabled", connect it. Then launch the "New Connection Wizard" shortcut. In the window that appears, select "Connect to the Internet", then - "Set up a connection manually."

Next, select a high-speed connection with a name and password. Then enter the name of the Internet connection and proceed further. In the window that appears, enter the login and password that were provided by your Internet provider. In the final window, check the line "Add shortcut to desktop" and click "Finish".

In the next window that appears, select "Properties" and then the "Network" tab. Highlight the TCP / IP option and click Properties. Then check the box "Use the following DNS server addresses". Enter the addresses you received from your ISP. Save all settings and close the windows. You can now connect to the internet using your desktop shortcut.
