Refilling inkjet printer cartridges at special service centers is not cheap. Buying a new cartridge every time you run out of ink is also very expensive. Meanwhile, many models of inkjet cartridges can be refilled at home. In this case, you will not have to spend neither refilling cartridges nor purchasing them. Many would agree that this is a good cost saving.

Step 1
First, you need to purchase the ink you need for your printer. For each printer model, for example, a color cartridge may need several colors. For example, Canon IP Series printers require blue, yellow and red ink for a color cartridge.

Ink can be purchased either in special syringes or in bottles. Better to buy in bottles - then the need to buy ink will disappear for a long time.
Step 3
After purchasing ink, you can refill the cartridge. To do this, remove it from the printer and place it on an unnecessary newspaper, or on several at once, so as not to stain the table with paint during refueling. Then peel off the top label. If your cartridge does not have a label on top, but a cap, remove it with a screwdriver.
Step 4
Now pay attention to the location of the printheads. On the opposite side at the top, opposite each of the printheads, punch small holes. To do this, it is most convenient to use a needle hot on a fire. Now, using a syringe with a needle, in the holes, according to the color of the print head, inject about 5 ml of ink. Wait about 5 minutes and then seal the holes. To do this, use scotch tape. To refill the cartridge with black ink, you need to carry out exactly the same operation. The only difference is that you only have to pierce one hole.
Step 5
Now insert the cartridge into the printer. You can print a test page if you like. The first time you print a document or image after refilling a cartridge, the printer software will ask you if any of the printer cartridges have been replaced. As an answer, select the cartridge (color ink bottle, black ink bottle) that you refilled. This will allow you to control the ink levels.
