As you know, PDF documents are not intended to be modified after creation. However, some of them contain forms that you can fill out. After filling out, such a document can be printed along with the data entered into it.

Instructions

Step 1

Download and install the latest version of the original Adobe Reader viewer. If you can view documents in PDF format using third-party applications, then you need the original Reader to fill out forms in them. It's free and available for both Linux and Windows. To download it, go to the following link:

Step 2

Launch Adobe Reader and open the document in which you want to fill out the form. At the same time, open any text-only document editor, such as KWrite or Geany on Linux, and Notepad on Windows.

Step 3

Enter the data that should be located in the form fields in the document, not directly in them, but in a text editor. Use a separate line for each new field. Save the document.

Step 4

Using the clipboard (copy - "Control" + "C", paste - "Control" + "V"), transfer the data from the lines in the text document to the corresponding form fields in the PDF document. Make sure that, firstly, the fields are filled in correctly, and secondly, all the data is in exactly those fields that are intended for them.

Step 5

Print the PDF document. Make as many copies of this document with the completed form as needed.

Step 6

Close Adobe Reader. Simultaneously with its closure, the data entered into the form will be lost, but you will have a copy of it in a text document. When you need to fill out the form again, you can transfer this data to the fields from the text document, and not enter them again.

Step 7

If there are only two or three fields in the document, but in each of the copies they need to be filled in differently (for example, greeting cards are printed), you do not need to use a text editor, manually filling in the fields before each print. Please note, however, that in this case, after you close Adobe Reader, the data you entered in the form fields will be lost.
