It is impossible to connect a regular webcam with a USB interface to a TV with an analog signal, but you can do this by using the system unit as an adapter. You can also purchase another webcam model.

Step 1
Use a webcam model that works with an analog signal. These are sold in home appliance stores, points of sale for radio products, and so on, but it is best to order them online. This is the only way to connect directly. Even if your TV has a USB interface, you simply have nowhere to install the camera driver, and it is not recognized by the system. There also remains the option of using a personal computer as an adapter. Here, take a close look at what connectors are available on your TV and computer video controller - HDMI, VGA, DVI, SVideo, and so on.
Step 2
Connect the computer to the TV using special cables and adapters. If possible, adjust the resolution so that it is convenient for you to use the screen as a monitor. After that, connect your webcam to the USB port of your computer using a connecting cable.
Step 3
Install the device driver from the disc supplied with the purchase, and adjust the resolution and other parameters in a special utility or in the "Devices" menu in the computer control panel.
Step 4
Position your webcam so that what you want to see falls within its field of view. If its cable is not enough for installation, use special USB extension cords that are sold in computer stores. Now TVs are already on sale with analogs of computer operating systems installed on them, but even they do not support working with webcams, since their (cameras) data was originally intended for a different platform and simply will not be recognized by the system, as a result of which the camera will not be able work.
