Step 1
Disable the second processor core using the HyperThreading configuration item. To do this, restart the computer, press Delete when it boots and, if required, enter the password on the BIOS.

Using the arrow keys to navigate through the BIOS program menu, find the HyperThreading settings item, this function in some motherboard models is responsible for activating the second processor core. Uncheck the box to use it.
