To ensure a quick exchange of information between computers, they are combined into a local network. Another reason for creating this kind of network can be the setting of simultaneous access to the Internet from both devices.

Instructions
Step 1
One important fact to keep in mind: you need three network cards to create a local area network with Internet access between two computers. Purchase the required number of network adapters and one network cable.
Step 2
Connect two network cards to the computer that will be connected to the provider's cable. Set up your internet connection. Make sure it works properly.
Step 3
Connect the second network card with a network cable to a similar device installed in the second computer. Open the Network and Sharing Center. Right-click on the icon that symbolizes the second network card and select "Properties". Highlight "Internet Protocol TCP / IPv4" and click the "Properties" button.
Step 4
Fill in the "IP address" field with the following numbers: 222.222.222.1. Save the settings for this network adapter.
Step 5
Go to the settings of the second computer. Turn on the device and go to the settings of the network card, as described in the previous paragraph. Change the parameters of this device to the following values:
- 222.222.222.2 - IP address
- 255.255.255.0 - Subnet mask
- 222.222.222.1 - The main gateway
- 222.222.222.1 - Preferred DNS server
- 222.222.222.1 - Alternative DNS server.
Save the settings for this adapter.
Step 6
Go back to the first computer. Open the Network and Sharing Center. Right click on the internet connection icon. Open its properties. Select the "Access" tab. Find the item "Allow all computers on the local network to use this Internet connection." Check the box next to this function.
Step 7
In the next field, specify the local network that your computers form. Reconnect to the internet. Check for Internet access on the second computer.
