The point of renaming additional controls is to make the game recognize them as supported. This applies primarily to games developed by EA Games.

Instructions
Step 1
Find a list of the joysticks supported by your game. To rename the joystick, download a dedicated utility called NHL07R Joystick Renamer. During its use, the device must be connected to your computer, and the game in which it is used to control must be closed. Install the program on your computer and run it.
Step 2
On the left side of the Your joysticks menu, select your joystick. Rewrite its full name in a separate text document. On the right side of the window, select one of the renaming options from the "EA support joysticks" menu. Using the New name window, enter a new name for the joystick by selecting it from the list of supported by the game. Press the> button.
Step 3
Proceed to test the joystick in the game by launching it and selecting this device in the control menu, if necessary. Please note that if your joystick has many buttons with additional control functions, then after renaming it, access to some of them may be closed.
Step 4
If you still have problems with management when renaming, choose a different name; you can do this an unlimited number of times.
