The use of a microphone has long ceased to be the business of stage, pop and music professionals. Modern means of receiving sound serve not only for recording, but also for exchanging messages in instant messengers, when using the call and video call functions.
Instructions
Step 1
Locate the microphone input on your laptop sound card. It is to the left of the monitor, it is marked in pink and has a “minijack” connector.
Step 2
Take the head and microphone cable (if they are separate devices) and connect. If the microphone has a built-in cable, take the end of the cable.
Step 3
If the cable outlet does not match the mic-in jack, use the appropriate adapter.
Step 4
Plug the cable into the “minijack” connector. Open any sound editor and check if the microphone is working (the volume recorder should record changes during your speech).
