Safe Mode is one of the ways to start the Windows operating system on a computer. This mode is necessary if you want to remove any kind of viruses, Trojans or spyware. Safe Mode is an additional stripped-down boot option and does not load anything other than basic Windows drivers and services.
Instructions
Step 1
To enter Safe Mode, restart your computer.
After the PC starts loading the Basic Input / Output System (BIOS), a short beep will sound and the logo of the computer manufacturer will appear on the screen. At this time, press the F8 key on your keyboard. If nothing happens, press it quickly several times in a row until the "Additional boot options menu" screen appears. If the menu still does not appear and the Windows operating system starts loading, restart the computer again and press F8 earlier, during or before the motherboard beep.
Step 2
If everything went well, select "Safe Mode" from the boot options menu (in the English version - "Safe Mode"). Use the up and down arrow keys to navigate through the menus and the Enter key to select.
Step 3
After choosing to boot in Safe Mode, wait for the OS to boot. It takes a little longer than a normal Windows boot. After loading, a message will appear on the screen stating that the computer is running in limited mode and to continue working in this mode, you need to click on the "Yes" button in the dialog box.
