Step 1
Download and extract the free CCleaner utility.
Step 2
Run the application and wait for the installation to complete. The end of the installation process will be indicated by the appearance of the CCleaner shortcut on the desktop.

Open the program and select the "Registry" section in the panel on the left side of the application window.
Step 4
Click the "Search for problems" button at the bottom of the CCleaner window and wait until the process of scanning the computer's registry is complete.

Click the "Fix" button at the bottom of the list of errors found in the window that opens.

Click the Fix Selected button in the new dialog to remove all registry errors at once.
Step 7
Press the OK button to confirm the selected command and wait until the program finishes.

Review the cleanup result in a new dialog box indicating the number of keys removed and click Close.

Reboot your computer. Manual cleaning of the system registry is possible, but should be used with great care and cannot be recommended for novice users.

Click the "Start" button to enter the main menu of the system and go to the "Run" item.

Enter regedit in the Open field and click OK to confirm the command to invoke the Registry Editor utility.
