Probably, many have found themselves in a situation where they urgently need to print or open a Microsoft Word document. But the Microsoft Office program was not installed on the computer. Accordingly, it needs to be installed. But what if you don't have an installation disc or your optical drive is broken? The problem is solved quite simply. You need to take a USB flash drive and copy the Microsoft Office program there, which you can take, for example, from friends.

Step 1
The procedure for installing Microsoft Office from flash drives is not much different from installing this program from disk. When you copy the installer of the Microsoft Office program, make sure that absolutely all files are transferred to the USB flash drive. Otherwise, the program will simply not be installed, and if it is installed, it will not work correctly.
Step 2
To start installing Microsoft Office from a flash drive, you will first need to launch the Program Setup Wizard yourself, since the USB flash drive will not automatically start. To do this, open the USB flash drive and then go to the root folder of the program installer. In this root folder, find the Setup or Autorun. Double-click one of these files. After that, the installation wizard will start. Then, according to the prompts of the "Wizard", install the program on the hard disk of your computer. The difference is that installing from a USB stick can take longer than installing from a disk.
Step 3
There may also be a situation when you have an ISO image of the Microsoft Office program saved on a USB flash drive. This is a virtual disk image. But it is not at all necessary to download additional programs for working with virtual disks in order to install the program from a USB flash drive. But to install an ISO image with Microsoft Office from a USB flash drive, you must have WinRAR installed. Moreover, one of the latest versions, since older versions do not support working with ISO images.
Step 4
Run the WinRAR program. In the main menu of the program, select the "Wizard" component. In the window that appears, check the "Unpack archive" item. In the next window, specify the path to the program image that is stored on the USB flash drive and click "Next". In the next window, select where the files will be unpacked and click "Finish". The image files are now extracted to the selected folder.
Step 5
Next, open the root folder of the extracted program and find the Setup or Autorun file there by double-clicking on it with the left mouse button. In general, further actions are the same as in the previous situation.
