Warcraft III is a strategy game that, even 10 years after its release, remains popular among players around the world. Much of the popularity of this game is due to the ability to play online with other players, which is available in a version called The Frozen Throne.
Instructions
Step 1
Choose from several ways to play Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne online - through the Battle.net server, other servers, the Garena website, or the Hamachi software. The first method is the most accessible and easy. To do this, just purchase the official version of the game with an individual key, then go to the Battle.net website and go through the quick registration procedure, following the instructions indicated. Now, using your license key, you can start the game online.
Step 2
Try to find other servers to play online, for example Playground.ru. You will need Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne 1.24e or higher with a patch from the developers. Also search on the Internet and download the loader program, install it. If you have a firewall installed, configure it so that it does not block the launch of the game online: open connections to ports: from 6112 to 6114, as well as 6200 and 4000, include W3l.exe and War3.exe in the list of allowed programs, located in the game folder. Launch the game via the W3l.exe file (do not confuse with War3.exe). Create a new account and start playing.
Step 3
Go to the Garena.ru website and register a new user. Download the client from this service to your computer and install it. Start the client and enter it using the username and password created on the site. Select the appropriate Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne game room, then specify the path to the executable file in the game folder. Click "Start", then set the local network as the connection, after which you can start playing online.
Step 4
Download and install the Hamachi program on your computer (it can be found on various gaming sites on the Internet). Establish a local network connection and run the program. Specify the path to the launch file W3l.exe in order to start playing online.
