Using the graphics editor Adobe Photoshop, you can remove some defects in unsuccessful photos, including blurred images. Good results are achieved in a variety of ways.
Instructions
Step 1
Open the original image and duplicate it with Ctrl + V. It is better to make all changes on a new layer so that unsuccessful actions do not damage the picture.
Step 2
In the Filter menu, in the Other group, use High Pass. Choose such a value for the radius so that the contours of the image appear slightly from under the gray mask. Click OK and set the blending mode to Overlay for this layer.
Step 3
In the same Filter menu in the Sharpen group, select Unsharp Mask and use the sliders to set the appropriate Amount and Radius values. The Amount parameter sets the level of influence on the drawing, Radius - the radius, Treshold - the protection of small details from the influence of the tool.
Step 4
If the Amont value is increased too much, artifacts may appear in the image. If the Threshold level is too high, the details will look like "plastic". To monitor changes, check the Preview checkbox.
Step 5
You can also use the Smart Sharpen option from the Sharpen group. For finer image processing, move the switch to the Advanced position. Sharpen the highlights and shadows using the Fade Amount, Tonal Width, Radius sliders.
Step 6
You can use the Photo Filter tool to enhance the clarity and expressiveness of your photo. Open Image, Adjustments and Photo Filter. Find a suitable value from the list.
Step 7
Click Create new fill or adjustment layer in the Layers panel and choose Photo Filter. You can choose a ready-made filter from the list or create your own. To do this, set the switch to Color and click on the colored square next to the button. On the color picker, mark the appropriate shade.
Step 8
Foreground details should appear more distinct than distant objects. Press Q to enter quick mask editing mode and D to set default colors. Use a soft brush to paint over the foreground. Then change the foreground color to gray and process more distant details without touching the background.
Step 9
Press Q again. A selection will appear around part of the photo - it is protected by a mask. The darker the brush color, the stronger the protection. From the Filter menu select Gaussian Blur and set the Radius value to 0.5 px. Distant objects and, to a lesser extent, mid-shot details will be blurred.
