Step 1
To adjust the bass in standard Windows Media Player, you must enable the SRS WOW option. Open the player window using the shortcut on the taskbar or the menu "Start" - "All Programs" - "Windows Media Player".

Switch to the mode of the current playlist by clicking on the corresponding icon "Switch to the current list" in the lower right corner of the program.

Right-click on an empty area near the playback control panel. Select the "Additional Features" menu - SRS WOW.

Click on the "Enable" button. For better bass performance, adjust the TruBass slider and select the setting that best suits your sound system.

If you are using another player, to adjust the bass sound, it is enough to adjust the equalizer accordingly, which is displayed by default in the main window of any program. Many modern music playback applications have built-in add-ons, including those focused on bass sounds.

For system-wide bass tuning, you need to change the sound card driver settings using the utility supplied with the device. If you are using a Realtek audio adapter, you can adjust the settings in the Realtek HD Audio app. A utility of the same name is installed for SoundMAX boards. For VIA devices, use the VIA HD Audio Deck. If an audio card from another manufacturer is installed in the computer, the adjustment is made in the same way by setting the equalizer parameters to lower frequencies in the control panel.
