In order not to waste time searching for recently opened files all over the computer, a special menu "Recent Documents" was created. Although in some cases it is still more convenient to use search.
Instructions

To see a list of files recently opened on your computer, use the "Recent Documents" menu item. Please note that the collection of statistics on file opening may be disabled in advance on this computer or some files may have been previously deleted from the corresponding item, so this information may be considered unreliable.

In cases when you need to view the latest documents of a certain format, which were called up on the computer in a certain period of time, select the search by the date of changes in certain directories of the hard disk, entering the file type in the search parameters. This is convenient in cases when you want to view, for example, the last opened audio recordings or photographs, you can also track their location by searching for them by right-clicking and selecting "Open folder containing an object" from the context menu.
Step 3
If you need to view the latest documents in the Windows Seven operating system, open the "My Computer" menu, then in the Favorites section, view the contents of the menu, there will be displayed the last visited directories in which you opened any files.
