After reviewing and evaluating the files, you may come to the conclusion that you no longer need them. You will never use them again, so why should they stay on your computer and take up space? Removing viewed files is a snap.
Instructions
Step 1
To delete viewed files on your computer, open the folder where the files are saved. Find the file you want to delete and move the mouse cursor over it. Right-click on the name or on the icon of the file, a drop-down menu will open. In the drop-down menu, select the "Delete" command and click on the corresponding line with any mouse button. The system will ask you to confirm the deletion of the file in a separate window. To confirm the deletion of the file, click on the "Yes" button with the left mouse button. The file will be deleted.
Step 2
To delete multiple files next to each other, open the folder that contains the files. While holding down the left mouse button, select the files you are going to delete. To do this, just drag, without releasing the mouse button, the transparent frame over the working area of the folder so that the files you do not need are inside it. The selected files will be highlighted. Without making unnecessary clicks in the free area of the folder, move the cursor to any of the selected files, right-click on it. In the drop-down menu, select the "Delete" command, confirm the deletion by clicking on the "Yes" button in the dialog box.
Step 3
You can delete several files located in different parts of the folder as follows: open the folder, select the first file with the mouse, hovering over it. While holding down the "Shift" key on your keyboard, move the cursor to each file that you are going to delete. When all the files you don't need are highlighted, delete them in the same way as described in the previous steps.
Step 4
There are several ways to delete all files in a folder at once. Go to the folder where you saved unnecessary files and select them with the mouse, as suggested in step 2. Delete in the usual way. Another way: after entering the folder, press the "Ctrl" key on the keyboard and, while holding it, press the Latin letter "A". Remove in the usual way. The third method: in the top menu bar, select the "Edit" item, from which call the "Select All" command. Delete the files using the path described above. And, of course, you can always delete not only files from a folder, but the entire folder as well.
