Step 1
First select your Wi-Fi router. This equipment must have characteristics similar to those of the network adapters in notebook computers. Check the manuals for your laptops and find the security and radio transmission types that their wireless adapters support.

In the event that you do not have a paper copy of the user manual, open the official website of the company that produces these models of wireless adapters or laptops.

Get a Wi-Fi router. In this case it will be the Asus 520 device. Connect it to the mains. Connect the network wire provided by your ISP to the WAN port.

Connect a network cable to one of the four LAN channels, and connect the other end to the network adapter of a stationary computer or laptop.

Turn on the equipment connected to the Wi-Fi router. Launch your browser. In the url input box, enter https://192.168.1.1. In the window that appears, click the OK button. This is required to quickly set up your internet connection

Fill in the required fields of the following menu items as recommended by your provider. Be sure to enable DHCP and NAT options. Enter the settings and click Next to reach the Configure Wireless Interface menu.
Step 7
In the SSID field, enter the name of the wireless access point. In the next field (Security Level) select the type of security. It is recommended to use WPA or WPA2-PSK protocols if supported by your laptops.
Step 8
In the Passpharse field, enter the password to access the network. Click the Finish button to complete the settings.
Step 9
Connect wireless devices to the created access point, and connect stationary computers to the LAN ports of the router. Check that all connected devices have internet access.
