Instructions

Step 1

Register an account on the twitch.tv website by filling in your registration information. Wait for confirmation of registration by e-mail. Next, install XSplit, which is available for download on the website and allows you to stream to Twitch TV.

Step 2

Launch XSplit and start configuring the program. Open the “View” tab in the control panel and set the appropriate Resolution. It is best to set it to widescreen resolution (16: 9) and HDTV quality, but be guided based on the power of your computer. The rest of the values can be specified at your discretion.

Step 3

Link your XSplit account to the Twitch TV service. To do this, in the “Broadcast” tab, click “Edit channels” and in the window that opens, select the “Twitch” item. Next, enter your username and password with which you registered on Twitch TV. Adjust the video and sound settings according to your internet speed as well as the performance of your computer. Set the Buffer value to twice the bitrate. After accepting the settings, a line will appear in the Broadcast tab, which will display the name of the added stream on Twitch TV.

Step 4

Capture the area of the screen that you want to stream to Twitch TV. Click on “Add” and then select “Screen region”. In this case, you can also use different scenes (Scenes) with previously captured areas of the screen, switching between them.

Step 5

Start broadcasting by going to the “Broadcast” tab and clicking on your channel name. Remember, games are streamed differently. So, for example, you can stream Warcraft III and DotA 2 only in windowed mode. To do this, first select this option in the main menu of the game.
