Information about installed printers is located in a special system folder. If you accidentally delete the printer you want, you can use one of the available methods to restore it.

Step 1
If you've accidentally deleted a printer from the Printers and Faxes folder, you can restore it quickly and easily. To do this, you just need to reconnect the device to the computer and wait for it to be detected by the system. Since the necessary drivers and services for the printer have already been installed, you just have to wait for the automatic installation of the device to complete, after which it will reappear in the Printers and Faxes folder.
Step 2
If there is no change in the system after connecting the printer, try installing it manually. To do this, open the "Printers and Faxes" folder from the "Start" menu and select "Add Printer Wizard". Follow the instructions on the system to complete the installation process.
Step 3
A fairly common case is the removal of the printer due to a system failure or formatting the hard disk. In this case, in addition to connecting the printer to the computer, you need to prepare drivers and install special programs from the manufacturer, without which the printer will not be detected by the system. If you do not have an installation disc with the appropriate services, perform the printer installation with the "Automatically search for drivers" option. The system will try to find them on your hard drive or on the Internet.
Step 4
If you cannot find the correct drivers automatically, download them yourself from the Internet, for example, from the website of the printer manufacturer. Repeat the process of installing the device through the "Add Printer Wizard" application, but this time with the "Specify the path to drivers manually" option, selecting the drivers saved on the computer or external media.
Step 5
Use the System Restore service found in the utilities. Navigate to them via the Start menu. During the system recovery process, select the desired checkpoint (before removing the printer) and start the operation. After a reboot, unless the system has been severely damaged by a crash, the deleted printer will reappear in the Printers and Faxes folder.
