Step 1
Purchase a BlueTooth adapter. Usually these devices are connected to the USB port. Make this connection. Turn on the computer and wait while the operating system detects the connected device. Step 2
Select Update Drivers. In the new window, select the "Automatic search and installation of drivers" mode. To successfully complete this process, you must have an active Internet connection.

Sometimes the operating system cannot cope with the task at hand, as a result of which you have to independently search for the files needed for the BlueTooth adapter to work. Download the driver database called Driver Pack Solution. Run this program. Wait a while while the utility detects devices that need to update working files.
Step 4
Select the datasets for the BlueTooth adapter. Click the Update button and wait for this process to complete. Restart your computer after installing the drivers.
Step 5
To transfer a file to a mobile phone or other device, right-click on it, hover over the "Send" line and click on the "BlueTooth device" item. Now wait until the scan for available hardware is complete, select your mobile phone and confirm the file has been sent.
Step 6
Be sure to press the "Accept" button on your phone to successfully complete this process. When working with a mobile computer, it makes sense to initially update the drivers for the motherboard and network devices. They are usually delivered together with the laptop on a separate disk. Also try to find drivers on the official website of your laptop manufacturer.
