Step 1
If you decide to reinstall the Mozilla FireFox browser and want to keep all bookmarks, then use the standard features of this Internet browser. Launch FireFox and open the program control panel. In the new menu, select the "Bookmarks" item.

After opening the specified menu, click the "Import and backup" button and select the "Backup" item. Select the folder where the bookmark file will be saved. It is better to use the disk partition on which no operating systems are installed to store this data. This will allow you to recover your data after reinstalling Windows.

Enter a name for the bookmarked file. Click the Save button. Now open Control Panel and select the Add / Remove Programs menu. Uninstall your FireFox browser. Reinstall this program.

Launch FireFox and open the Import & Backup menu. Select Import Bookmarks From HTML File. Specify the path to the previously saved file, select it and click the "Open" button. Restart your browser.

If you want to configure automatic saving of bookmarks on an external server, launch your browser and open the settings menu. Select the "Synchronization" tab.
