Instructions

Step 1

Insert the disc into your computer's disc drive. After that, use Explorer to open the folder containing the files you want to copy. Select them with the left mouse button, then right-click on them, select the "Send" menu item and select the drive in which the disc was inserted. You can also right-click on the selected files and select the "Copy" item, then open the disk folder using the explorer and, by right-clicking, select "Paste".

Step 2

On the toolbar of the Explorer window with the disc folder, click on the "Burn CD" link. Provide a name for the disc to be burned, and then click Next. Wait for the process to finish. When the recording is finished, the disc tray will open - the disc has been recorded, you can remove it.

Step 3

You can copy files from your computer to a disc using specialized burning programs (for example, Ahead Nero, Small CD-Writer, Ashampoo Burning Studio, etc.). Insert a disc into your computer's drive, select one of the recording applications and launch it.

Step 4

In the "File" menu of the program, select "New". In the settings of the new project, specify the CD or DVD will be used for burning. If necessary, select one of the additional data types for the disc being burned.

Step 5

Specify the recording settings: multisession or not, recording or imitation, data validation, recording rate. Set the file system type of the disk, its name, and additional settings, if necessary. After that, click the "Create" button.

Step 6

Using the opened working window of the program, copy the necessary files to the recording project. To do this, use the application's file manager: select the device, directory and files prepared for recording. Left-click on the required file and, without releasing the button, drag it into the project. If you need to copy several files, select them and drag them in the same way.

Step 7

After that, click the "Record" button located in the program toolbar. In the window that appears, check the previously specified parameters and click the "Burn" button. Wait for the process to finish.
