Step 1
When transferring information from one hard disk to another, you can use the standard system tools. To do this, you need to select the files you need to transfer on one disk, copy or cut them (using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl and C or Ctrl and X), go to the required folder on the second hard disk and use the paste function (Ctrl + V).
Step 2
In a similar way, files are transferred from a hard disk to a flash card. To do this, simply insert it into the appropriate connector (USB or card reader slot). Once the device is identified by the system, copy operations can be performed in the same way as in the case of a hard disk.
Step 3
If the data needs to be transferred to disk, then you can use the utilities Nero or Alcohol 120%. They quickly write to the desired media, pre-formatting it. There are many save options to choose from. The future disc may be in a variety of formats - from a regular data disc to Blue-ray Video or Sound DVD. There is also an UltraISO program that creates images from the necessary files. Then these archives can be written to several different discs without any problems, by pressing only two buttons in the menu.
Step 4
Data from the hard disk can also be written to a remote server, it is enough to register in any free or paid file hosting service that will securely save any data. The permissible file size is set by each service separately. There are also hosting for files, where the amount of data can reach up to several terabytes, and where you can copy your files, which will be stored on a remote hard disk for a long time. Also, there are special ones for copying data from the disk. "Cloud" services (for example, Ubuntu One), which are storage space on a virtual server. Subsequently, the downloaded files can be shared with other users. With access to your account, you can upload your data to any computer and use it when needed.
