For the convenience of using applications in Windows, it is possible to install windows of some programs on top of others. This can be done both using the functions of the system itself and special utilities.
Instructions
Step 1
Examine the settings for the application you need. They may contain the item "Run on top of other windows", which must be activated. But at the same time, there are such programs, the priority of which cannot be set by the system method, and the use of special applications is required.
Step 2
Use one of several handy and free programs such as DeskPins. This application is suitable for any version of Windows. Its only drawback is the English-language interface.
Step 3
Run the program after the installation is complete and click on its icon on the taskbar with the left mouse button. After that, the cursor will change to a small carnation. Hover it over the window you need and place it on top of the rest. Another click on the tray icon releases the commit. You can also activate the working mode on top of all windows by pressing Ctrl + F12.
Step 4
Install another popular free program called OnTOP as an alternative. Unlike DeskPins, it allows only one window to be docked on top of the others. Moreover, it is completely in Russian.
Step 5
Run the program and add to the special list those applications that should run on top of other windows when launched. As a result, if OnTOP is launched, any of the applications added to its list will automatically become on top of the others. You can also use additional parameters. For example, when you click on the "Advanced" button, you can resize the window by specifying the appropriate length and width.
Step 6
Also try changing the location of the window by ticking the appropriate place. In addition, you can set the transparency of the windows, which makes them look nicer and at the same time allows you to see which applications are running in the background.
