Instructions

Step 1

If the initial Opera settings have not been changed, then every time you first enter your username and password in the authorization form of a site, an additional panel appears at the top of the page. On the right side of it there are two buttons ("Save" and "Never"), and on the left - a proposal to save the entered data in the browser password manager. Click "Save" and the next time you need to log in to this page, you will see that the fields for entering the login and password are surrounded by a yellow frame. This means that the password manager has data for this form and you just need to press the CTRL + Enter key combinations so that they are automatically entered by the browser and sent to the server.

Step 2

If you once, by mistake or for security reasons, clicked the "Never" button on this panel, then the browser will no longer ask this question and offer to save the password. To re-enable the Opera password manager, open the browser menu and in the "Settings" section select "General settings". Alternatively, you can simply press CTRL + F12. This will open the "Settings" window, where you should go to the "Forms" tab and check the box next to "Enable password management". Press the "OK" button and the password manager will again offer to save passwords according to the previous scenario.

Step 3

If in the password saving dialog you once refused to save data only for a specific site, and then changed your mind, then you need to remove your previous choice from the password manager's memory. To do this, you should also open the browser settings window (CTRL + F12) and go to the "Forms" tab. Click the "Passwords" button in it and find the name of this site in the general list. Then click it and you will see a line that is missing a login. Click this line, click the "Delete" button, and then the "Close" button. Reload the page with the login and password entry form, enter them and send them to the server. In this case, the browser should offer to save the entered data - click the "Save" button.
