Many malware and viruses do not immediately manifest themselves, but gradually spread throughout the system. They are called hidden. To cope with them, you need to independently check the system with an antivirus.
Instructions
Step 1
Trojans and spyware viruses can reside on your system without showing any signs for a long time. If it seems to you that the system is not working stably, and your antivirus does not react in any way, then update your antivirus software via the Internet.
Step 2
If you notice that files are disappearing or you do not have access to them, then this is a sign of hidden malware. Place this file in quarantine in your antivirus. This object will be checked by technical support and, if there is no danger, it will be removed from quarantine.
Step 3
Run your antivirus. Enable a full system scan for viruses and Trojans. Set the degree of verification to "deep". Select the virtual disk partition where your operating system is located. This check can take several hours. Do not click the Cancel button.
Step 4
To deal with hidden viruses that your antivirus cannot detect, you need to perform a system restore. Go to "Start" - "All Programs" - "Standard" - "System Tools" and click on the link "System Restore". Check the box next to "Restore to an earlier state." Specify a rollback point and click OK. After completing the system restore, the hidden virus will be removed.
Step 5
To deal with hidden viruses, download free one-time anti-virus utilities (https://download.geo.drweb.com/pub/drweb/livecd/drweb-livecd-600.iso). Burn to a blank disc and insert into your personal computer drive. This program will scan your computer, remove hidden viruses and Trojans.
