In the Windows 7 operating system, a special "quick launch bar" allows you to quickly launch various programs with one click of the mouse. Only those applications that you use most often need to be placed on the "Quick Launch" bar, otherwise there will simply not be enough space on it. If the panel has disappeared for some reason, it can be returned to its place.

Instructions
Step 1
Right-click on an empty space on the taskbar with your mouse on the desktop. Then, in the menu that appears, hover the mouse over the "Panels" item, then select the "Create Toolbar" column. You can perform this operation only from this menu.
Step 2
Enter the line% appdata% Microsoft Internet Explorer Quick Launch in the address bar of the window that appears. Enter all characters, including the slash character and the percent character. Check that the address is identified and the corresponding folder opens. If for some reason this folder is missing, create it along the path C: Users *** AppDataRoaming Microsoft Internet Explorer Quick Launch, substituting your username instead of stars.
Step 3
The username can be viewed in the operating system. Click on the "Start" button on your computer desktop. At the top of this tab, you will see a small image and an inscription, such as User or Admin. This is the username of this computer. You will have some similar name.
Step 4
Click the "Open" button and check that the new panel appears on the taskbar. It is also worth noting that this panel displays not only element icons, but also names. If you do not need extra labels, right-click on the line of dots on the new panel and uncheck the box next to "Display text". Drag the new panel to the place where it is more convenient for you to see the icons for launching programs, then fix its location by selecting the appropriate item in this menu.
Step 5
The "Quick Launch Bar" can also be customized in different ways - remove and add items as you wish. To add an element, right-click on the picture of a minimized window on the computer taskbar. Then select "Pin the program to the taskbar window". In general, we can say that the setup will not take much time, the main thing is to do everything right.
