If several people take turns using the same computer, one of them can disable script processing in Opera. You can force the browser to support them again through the menu.
Instructions
Step 1
In the new version of the Opera browser, to enter the menu, press the red button located in the upper left corner. In the old version or when the classic interface is enabled, the menu is already located under the window title.
Step 2
Find the menu item "Settings" - "General settings" (in newer versions of the browser) or "Tools" - "Settings" (in older versions).
Step 3
In the settings window that opens, select the "Advanced" tab.
Step 4
Select Content from the list on the left.
Step 5
Check the "Enable JavaScript" checkbox (do not confuse it with the adjacent "Enable Java" checkbox - it does not control scripts).
Step 6
Click the OK button. From now on, scripts in the browser are enabled again.
Step 7
Reload those pages that have already been loaded (by going to the corresponding tab and pressing F5, Ctrl-R, or the on-screen button with a round arrow - "Refresh"). After that, the scripts will start executing on them as well.
Step 8
Please note that the "Content" tab of the "Settings for Sites" window, invoked through the context menu, does not allow you to separately enable or disable JavaScript support for certain sites. This way you can only configure support for Java, Flash, etc. JavaScript, on the other hand, can be enabled and disabled only globally - for all domain names at once.
Step 9
Keep JavaScript enabled at all times during your day-to-day browsing. Disable it before visiting sites that are known to have scripts located on them that are dangerous or may simply cause the browser to freeze, slow down, or crash. After closing the tab with such a site, re-enable the scripts, otherwise useful web applications such as WordPress will not work either. If you don't want to reconfigure your browser every time, use one of the following services to visit sites with dangerous or illiterate scripts:
